This Polynésie 42 is a very beautiful long-distance trimaran. Solid, very habitable and with good performance. Integral dinghy. Excellent manufacturing quality in strip planking, epoxy glass foam sandwich deck. The construction and development of this trimaran were carried out by a competent engineer owner who is very demanding on quality. The strip planking hulls, the carbon arms, the vacuum sandwich deck exude health and longevity. Very habitable for a trimaran, its size like its other characteristics predispose it to long peaceful voyages and tropical wandering, but it will also be at ease in the Mediterranean and around our coasts of Western Europe or its agility as a dinghy integral will work wonders (hydraulic pivoting fin with safety in the event of an impact). This boat was surveyed at launch at €457,000 (recent survey also available) by expert Jean Michel Nalpowik. It is the little brother of the Polynésie 45 ATOUVA whose performance, safety and solidity have few equivalents. This P42. is an exceptionally habitable trimaran equipped with a real catamaran-type saloon with panoramic views, a very pleasant longitudinal galley, two beautiful double cabins at the front (with toilet, shower-WC) and an astonishing owner's cabin aft (with small bathroom) with unsuspected volume from the outside. The cutter rig is perfectly suited to the program. The cockpit is really protected by a large windshield on which an articulated bimini is attached. The powerful engine is well suited to long-distance travel and the machine hold is very accessible, the shaft line transmission is ultra reliable and far superior to all sail drive systems, The boat is visible in French Carribean, it is a unique opportunity.
