Description
motor catamarans dedicated to long-range travel are rare. They are even counted on the fingers of both hands in Europe; the RS 57 was designed by David Réard for this purpose. The Strip Planking construction for the hull bases and CP / epoxy / Glass for everything else allows to obtain a very stiff and light frame therefore a fineness of the hull compatible with a great fuel economy (1l / mile at 8nd). The autonomy at half fuel load is therefore exceptional, allowing a navigation perimeter over the whole of Europe (Baltic, Great Britain, Spain, Mediterranean basin W, East basin (Greece, Turkey) with carefully calculated refueling. Very livable, this catamaran with a large radius of action is designed for a family or a couple welcoming friends. It is intended for a crew with experience of sailing who will appreciate the economy and the silence of operation and will know how to handle it. Inspired by the sailing philosophy of multihull sailboats to predict its trajectories by optimizing speed and consumption. The performance will appear insufficient to lovers of speed and fury, but are ideally calculated for an expedition boat. Equipped with all desirable equipment (heating Eberspacher; pilot, reinforced mooring), This catamaran is in almost new condition (200h engine). The very light and airy deck saloon is the main living space. pal with the owner's cabin overlooking the sea, the amenities (showers-toilets) and cabins to give are located in the floats.
