SUNCAT 30, 9.8m 1992, rebuilt 2015, epoxy-sandwich with bulb-bows, sleek performer, 5 bunks

Description

Originally Kelsall's Suncat 30 is an openbridgedeck catamaran. The present owner wanted more sheltered accommodation en therefor built a light and strong, sleek cabin over the bridgedeck and changed the interior layout of the hulls to his own taste. In this way he created a high performance , sleek cruising catamaran with two double bunks and two small singles, a spaciouis heads withbidet, a handy galley and lots of storage space. Thanks to the daggerboards and lifting rudders the "Nutmeg" can dry ouit on shallow sandbanks. The cockpit is arranged for solo-control with separate wheelsteering for the outboard and tillers with joysticks. The present configuration with fixed mast is not yet tested.
